There’s something inherently historical – and cultural – about Canada and Joni Mitchell, much the same way there is with Neil Young. Both seem to have carried a significant amount of this country with them into their careers.
The Pure Fidelity Horizon extracted information from the groove in a musical, accurate and resolution-oriented manner in line with its purview of spinning an LP at a sustained speed. But, much like sense, while these achievements may come off as simple, there is nothing common about the accomplishments of the Horizon.
